Top Business Group is hiring “Payroll accountant”
Work location: Sheraton, Heliopolis
Main duties:
· Gather information on hours worked for each employee
·Entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs.
·Calculate the correct amount incorporating salaries, overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. using Excel
·Receive approval from upper management for payments
·Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
·Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
·Transfer salaries to bank accounts after upper management approval
·Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by management
Requirements and skills:
· BA in business, accounting or relevant field is a plus.
· Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
· Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
·Proficient in MS Office and Advanced Excel
·Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
·Excellent communication skills
